Lands End Charters arranges sport fishing and luxury yacht charters in Mexico. We opened in Cabo San Lucas in 2012 and have put more than 100,000 guests on the water since. We are not the biggest company in the marina and we have never tried to be. We are the one that answers, tells you the truth, and delivers what you booked.
What we do
We arrange two things: sport fishing charters and private yacht charters. Half day and full day trips, small pangas up to large sportfishers, family days and serious offshore days. Yachts for a birthday, a sunset, a snorkel run or a week.
We handle the part that goes wrong when people book on their own: matching the right boat and crew to what you actually want to do, on the day you can actually go, at a price that does not change between the quote and the dock.
Our rates are published on the site. You do not have to call and negotiate with a salesperson to find out what something costs. We do not use commissioned salespeople, so nobody here makes more money by talking you into a bigger boat.
Where we operate
We started in Cabo San Lucas and still run our largest operation there. We now arrange charters in additional ports across Mexico, and we add new ones as the right people and boats come together.
We do not list a destination until we can stand behind the boats in it. That is the reason the list grows slowly.

Fishing is a small world. Captains and crews move. A mate who worked with us years ago is running his own boat somewhere else today. Owners we have worked with since the early days keep vessels in more than one port. Over more than a decade you build a network without ever planning to, and one day you realize you know who to call in a lot of places.
Our guests are the ones who pushed us to use it. Almost every week someone who fished with us asks where to go next, who to trust in another town, whether the boat they found online is real. We got tired of saying we did not know.
We have never been in the boat business. We have always been in the people business.
How we choose boats and crews
The same way in every port. We work with captains and operators we or someone we trust knows personally. We look at the boat, the safety equipment and the crew before a guest ever sets foot on it. We watch how an operator handles a bad day, because anyone can look good on a good one. And we only keep working with people our guests come back happy from.
Our crews average well over a decade on the water in the places they fish. They are the reason people book with us twice.

What we do not promise
We cannot promise fish. Nobody honest can, and anyone who does is selling you something. Some days the crews do everything right and it still does not happen.
We cannot promise the port stays open. The Port Captain decides when it is safe to go out and that call is not ours. When the port closes we reschedule you or refund you in full.
What we do promise is the boat you chartered, at the price you chartered it for, with no games. And if something goes wrong, we want to hear it while you are still in town, not in a review three weeks later.

Do you own the boats?
We work with a network of vetted captains, owners and operators in each port. Every boat and crew is one we know and stand behind.

What do you charge?
Rates are published on the site for every boat. No quotes, no negotiation, no commissioned salespeople.
Do you only operate in Cabo San Lucas?
No. Cabo San Lucas is where we started and where our largest operation is. We arrange charters in additional Mexican ports and continue to add more.
Do you do yachts as well as fishing?
Yes. Sport fishing charters and private luxury yacht charters, both.
What happens if the weather cancels my trip?
The Port Captain closes the port when conditions are unsafe. If that happens we reschedule you for another day during your stay, or refund 100 percent of what you paid.
Do you speak English?
Yes. Our team is fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
How far in advance should I book?
Peak months and holiday weeks book out well ahead. Slower months can often be arranged within hours.
