Remembering Tracy Ehrenberg, 1964 to 2026
This month the Cabo fishing family lost a friend and colleague. Tracy Ehrenberg passed away on September 12 in Cabo San Lucas at the age of 62. Tracy gave a lifetime to these docks and these waters. Anyone who worked the marina knew her hard work, her kindness, and her deep respect for the fish, especially her belief in letting billfish swim away to fight another day. She was fearless, fiercely independent, and generous with her time to anyone who needed a hand. Our hearts are with her husband Marco, her children and grandchildren, and everyone who was lucky enough to call her a friend. Fair winds and following seas, Tracy. You will be missed on the water.

The port captain closed the Port of Cabo San Lucas at midnight on September 23 as Hurricane Polo, a Category 5 storm at its peak, tracked up the Pacific well offshore. The port reopened sooner than expected and the fleet is back on the water. Keep an eye on the forecast through the weekend as the outer bands pass.

Huge bait balls push close to the surface, the marlin crash them in packs, and anglers can release more fish in a single trip than in a full season elsewhere. Our all inclusive Mag Bay trips are booking now.
