Tight lines from Lands End Charters

The 46th Bisbee's Black and Blue came down to one fish. On day one, Kevin Miranda, fishing with first time team Contango Spartan's Revenge out of Costa Rica, weighed a 491 lb blue marlin. Nobody topped it all week, and that fish paid $5,629,300, the biggest single payout in the tournament's 46 years. Hot water and a slow bite made it tough for the other 174 teams. Congrats to everyone who fished.

Two hours north of Cabo, La Paz trades the Pacific swell for the calm Sea of Cortez. Fall mornings start glassy, Espiritu Santo sits on the horizon, and the dorado, roosterfish and yellowfin tuna stay on the chew into November. It is a great pick for families and for anyone who wants a slower pace than the Cabo marina.
Our La Paz fleet runs nine boats from 22 to 36 ft, and every trip includes live bait, fuel, dock fees and taxes. Book 30 days ahead and save.
